Scars that stretch past elbows 
Too opaque to be called paint
They now are little jots
And memoirs
Rings in the limb that relive days spent
High enough to be relaxed as 
Corruption wrecks my life

And the elevator was the plan

Didn't know for real where it would go
Got on, pushed the button in
