Альбом “3D” самой успешной и продаваемой группы TLC вышел в ноябре в память о гибели главной солистки и вдохновительницы команды Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, погибшей в автокатастрофе этим летом. Об этом заявили участницы команды T-Boz и Chilli, а также продюсер и президент звукозаписывающей компании Arista Records Antonio “L.A.” Reid. “Нам трудно передать, что мы пережили после смерти Лизы, – говорят девушки. – Мы думали, что выпустим классический альбом TLC. Нам хотелось показать наше единство. Смерть Лизы изменила многое. Думаем, лучшим подарком нашим поклонникам будет данный альбом с ее участием. Лиза любила шумные компании и вечеринки, вот, почему наш альбом-трибьют не печальный, как ждали многие, а такой, каким его хотела видеть Лиза до своей гибели”.
