ListenYou're askin' me if I Know what real love feels like If I ever let anyone inside You can't be serious, serious'Cause I was the one givin' all I had Kept my promises all intact Better or worse, I honored that I could show you all about loveBaby, I could love you, love you, love you With my hands tied I could please you, please you, please you With my hands tiedEverythin' you need is right here It's just starin' you in your face Stop askin' me if I'm ready 'Cause this is just what I'll say'Cause I could love you, love you, love you With my hands tied, my hands tied, my hands tied (Hands tied, hands tied)Don't ever question my love I love hard despite the Heartbreaks I made light of You say, I've been the wrong, been the wrong oneI was the one tryna to patch it up Now I watch them say I had enough All I just keep thinkin' of I could show you all about loveBaby, I could love you, love you, love you With my hands tied I could please you, please you, please you With my hands tiedEverythin' you need is right here It's just starin' you in your face Stop askin' me if I'm ready 'Cause this is just what I'll say'Cause I could love you, love you, love you With my hands tied, with my hands tied, with my hands tied (Hands tied, hands tied)Now, I don't need my hands To feel the things I feel inside 'Cause I know what's inside My heart is rightThey don't have to hold you like that They don't have to touch you like that 'Cause you know the truth is that I could love you with one hand tied behind my back(Hands tied, hands tied, hands tied) I could love youBaby, I could love you, love you, love you With my hands tied I could please you, please you, please you With my hands tiedEverythin' you need is right here It's just starin' you in your face Stop askin' me if I'm ready 'Cause this is just what I'll sayI could love you, love you, love you (With my hands tied) 'Cause I could love you, love you, love you With my hands tied, hands tied, with my hands tied (Hands tied, hands tied)
Pulse is the sixth studio album by American R&B singer–songwriter Toni Braxton, released May 4, 2010, on Atlantic Records. It is her first album in five years and serves as her debut for the Atlantic label after signing a new record deal. Production for the album took place during September 2008 to March 2010 and was handled by several record producers, including David Foster, Harvey Mason, Jr., Frank E, Oak, Lucas Secon, and Dapo Torimiro. Pulse features up-tempo songs and R&B ballads with production varying from smooth to dance-based styles.
The album debuted at number nine on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 54,000 copies in its first week. It became Braxton's fifth US top-ten album and produced three singles that achieved moderate chart success. Upon its release, Pulse received generally positive reviews from most music critics.
