Will you please let down your wall so I can finally come on in and see I Not like all the other girls that You have been messing with, see IWan to give you everything Will you please except my heart? I won't let anything, tare this love apartI said, no way, no how, not me, not now I'm gonna prove my love is true Breaking your heart is something I won't doNo way, no how, not me, not now I'm gonna prove my love is true Breaking your heart is something I won't doWill you please let down you walls 'Cause they are way too high to climb Boy, I know your feet must hurt, baby 'Cause you've been running through my mindYou should let me love you Baby, I will never let you down As long as you want me, I will be aroundI said, no way, no how, not me, not now I'm gonna prove my love is true Breaking your heart is something I won't doNo way, no how, not me, not now I'm gonna prove my love is true Breaking your heart is something I won't doI love you with all of my heart And as long I'm breathing nothing's gonna tear us apart I love you and I need you, nothing's gonna change my mind Oh, no way, no way, baby, ohNo way, no how, not me, not now I'm gonna prove my love is true Breaking your heart is something I won't doNo way, no how, not me, not now I'm gonna prove my love is true Breaking your heart is something I won't do No way, said no way, I said no way
Pulse is the sixth studio album by American R&B singer–songwriter Toni Braxton, released May 4, 2010, on Atlantic Records. It is her first album in five years and serves as her debut for the Atlantic label after signing a new record deal. Production for the album took place during September 2008 to March 2010 and was handled by several record producers, including David Foster, Harvey Mason, Jr., Frank E, Oak, Lucas Secon, and Dapo Torimiro. Pulse features up-tempo songs and R&B ballads with production varying from smooth to dance-based styles.
The album debuted at number nine on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 54,000 copies in its first week. It became Braxton's fifth US top-ten album and produced three singles that achieved moderate chart success. Upon its release, Pulse received generally positive reviews from most music critics.
