Champagne Morning are an unsigned pop rock five-piece hailing from Kiev, Ukraine, led by Dima Kelly, whose music influence ranges from Queen to Robbie Williams.
With a burning ambition and persistence, Dima followed his dream and in 2009 assembled his long-anticipated band with the help of childhood friends: Vitaly Liak on guitar, Max Sabodash on keyboards, Yuri Zachary on drums and Alex Chunin on bass guitar.
In September 2012, Champagne Morning have been nominated for MTV EMA Awards, in ‘Best Ukrainian Artist’ category, among 5 other young Ukrainian bands of MTV-style.
The name of the band "Champagne Morning" flowed into Dima’s head one lovely Sunday morning as he sipped bubbly and contemplated how special the morning was. Dripping and bubbling with charisma, the band lives up to their name and is aiming to spread their high-quality music way further than Ukrainian borders. Dima Kelly chose to perform all of the songs in English, driven by his love for British culture, language, musical history and style.
The first released upbeat single "Miracle” (2010) has been followed by a fun music video, which centers around Dima and his loyal companions in rock as he traverses the sunny Kiev streets, dodging life's little obstacles. The twist is that the obstacles are expressed literally as hundreds of sneaky hands reach out of the ground to grab a piece of the band.
At present, other released singles include a romantic duo with a Ukrainian fellow-singer Nei – ‘Your Day’, and a tasty mix of pop and r’n’b – ‘Fly High’ – recorded in a cross-Atlantic duo with a US-based rapper Fannamonon.
The singles are spreading on numerous online and live radio stations, and have already won deserved top places in charts, among the most successful:

#1 on IndieDial Radio (US)
And – a very big deal for a rising band – ‘Miracle’ has been played on UK BBC Introducing radio show.
October 2012 – the release of Champagne Morning’s first EP, ‘Culture’, which consists of four tracks:
-hot and provoking flagship track ‘Culture’, performed featuring rapper Jerry Nolan
-beautiful in its desperation ‘My Home’
-the good old ‘Miracle’
-and its dance remix
