Есть несколько групп с названием Vicious Circle.
1) Бельгийская группа, игравшая экспериментальный пост-панк / дарквейв и выпустившая свой единственный альбом "Barbed Wire Slides" в 1990 году на именитом лейбле Some Bizzare. В 2009 году вышло переиздание на французском лейбле Infrastition.
Позднее оба участника группы принимали участие в записи альбомов View – Bike Ride (1993) и 48 Cameras.

Lucie Dehli and Stephan Ink are a duo of experimental musicicians, that started its musical carrier under the name of Vicious Circle on legendary British label SomeBizarre (Soft Cell, The The, Einsturzende Neubauten…). Barbed Wire Slides came originally out in 1990, and is now re-released with a previously unavailable track of the same period. The band later released two albums in France under the band-name VIEW on Les Disques du Soleil et de l'Acier (DAS). The voice of Lucie Dehli attracts the attention of German label Hyperium, and the song Bikeride has been included in the extremely successful Heavenly Voices sampler. A few years ago, the 2 musicians decide to settle in Belgium where they now take part in the experimental collective project of Jean Marie Mathoul -48 Cameras- (featuring David Coulter, Michael Gira, Rodolphe Burger..) and in 2006 they give birth to Elephant Leaf, a nuanced evolution of their previous works.
Originally issued on the Some Bizarre label in 1990, Barbed Wire Slides by Vicious Circle is a nice example of the dreampop/shoegaze/ethnic fusion/dark ambient/experimental music that was in fashion during the 80s and early 90s. Think about a mix of Coil, Dead Can Dance, Vox Populi! and Cocteau Twins. Vicious Circle consisted of Lucie Dehli and Stephan Ink, a duo that also performed under the name View and is now active as Elephant Leaf. The striking thing about Barbed Wire Slides is that it sounds as a unique piece of music, call it simply different. They had their influences, like any other band, but managed to create something truly singular. From psychedelic industrial-tinged sounds to classical arrangements, Barbed Wire Slides combines them into a conjuring set of songs. Repetitive, mechanical percussive sounds and grand, low synth tones contrast with the flute and Lucie Dehli's delicate, childlike voice on "Underground extasy". Lucie's way of singing relies less on any recognizable text than on the subjective sounds and textures of verbalized emotions, as one can hear on the seraphic "Родилась Слепой" and the equally heavenly, darkly mysterious "Что". This mesmeric style comes forward in a more threatening way on "No rest". The ethereal "Indolence chronique" sends shivers down your spine. "Bliss" contains world music as well as a refined industrial undertone. "Resistance" comes close to the dreampop style of Cocteau Twins, "Ceilings" is elegantly militant. The brittle, melancholic "Heures perdues" (previously unreleased) is the graceful closer of this 2010 re-issue of a magnificent album that has a bewitching charm.

Vicious Circle не оставили ждать долго, когда Universal Project предложил команде на их выбор сделать ремикс и выпуститься на Hardware. Underground, Jack Hammer - эти треки стали их выбором, и результаты были разрушительными! Легендарные Renegade Hardware в скором подписали Vicious Circle на свой лейбл. 2005 год был очень плодотворным и принес много результатов, о чем свидетельствуют появление в журнале ATM и выступление на радио BBC 1xtra. Следующий релиз вышел на лейбле Kryptic Minds Defcom - Apparition (Feat EBK). Потом вышел трек Doomtrain на RH Guerrilla Warfare LP.
На сегодняшний день VC продолжают лидировать в списке самых именитых продюсеров нейрофанка в мире. В 2007 команда выпускает свой новый EP “Welcome To ShankTown”, треки из которого уже крутятся в миксах таких диджеев, как Noisia, Spor, Dylan и др.
Vicious Circle продолжают выступать в городах Великобритании и Европы! Они взрывали танцполы Ministry of Sound и The End. В августе они впервые подняли могущественную Valve Soundsystem. Сейчас количество релизо этих парней огромно! Каждый новый синг несет что-то новое и завоевывает все больше и больше фанатов по всему миру!
