"Mack Z"
Mackenzie Ziegler, born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 4th 2004, is a professional dancer and singer.
Following into her sister’s footsteps, Mackenzie has been an active member of the Abby Lee Dance Company since age two.
In 2011, Mackenzie, her sister Maddie, and their mother Melissa Gisoni were cast on LifeTime’s hit reality TV series “Dance Moms”, which allowed Mackenzie to grow as an artist, slowly transitioning into the music industry with the support of her dance instructor, Abby Lee Miller.
In 2014, Mackenzie and Kismet Records released her debut album “It’s A Girl Party” under the name of “Mack Z”. Her first single successfully reached the #1 spot on the iTunes pop chart, beating some of today’s biggest artists. Shortly after, Mackenzie recorded and starred in “Freaks Like Me” by Todrick Hall. Later that year, her Christmas single, “Christmas All Year Long” made its way to the iTunes top charts once again.
Some of Mackenzie’s TV guest appearances include “Dancing With The Stars”, “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition”, “Good Morning America” and “The Today Show”.
Mackenzie’s hobbies include doing of covers of her favorite songs, playing with her puppy Maliboo, and shopping.
