"Orbifold"
Orbifold (Ωrbifold, Орбифолд) – creative experimentation group from St. Petersburg in conjunction "live" rock music with electronic music technology. Unusual structure of the compositions, rich layered audio stream and atmospheric-synthetic psychedelic - a musical space called Orbifold. This creativity can be heard crossing such styles as shoegaze, art-rock, nu-metal, post-rock, cyber-core, ambient and even drum'n'base. It is a dance sound that is unparalleled, a journey to the most subtle facets of consciousness.
The first rehearsal was a group in September 2009. Since then, the team managed to release two albums, several singles, win all the local clubs and visit the various major festivals having been on the same stage with bands such as Княz, Кукрыниксы, Dominia, Пилот, Scafandr and Oleg Garkusha. Steel runners-festevaley RockWeekend and Гаркундель. Orbifold took part in writing the music for a second solo album of Илья Чёрт (Пилот). Also composed the soundtrack to the animated film.
