The group originally formed in Calgary in January 2002 and they disbanded in January 2004 but reformed in September 2005.Singer Lisa Lobsinger has recorded and toured with Broken Social Scene while not working with RSR. In November 2007, the group completed the recording of 11 songs for their debut album, but mentioned they have no plans to play live because of their distances.The band's first full length record was released on June 23, 2009.
