Hailing from Lviv in Western Ukraine, Tigran Oganezov is regarded by many as the leading new trance artist from his country. With his devastating sound appearing regularly on DJ playlists globally and his DJ sets rocking every crowd he plays to, Tigran has become an exciting new addition to the global tech trance ranks!
Tigrans productions have been described as 'pushing the boundaries' as he delivers some of the most imaginative and off the wall tracks out there today.His unique sound was born in 2008 when he moved away from his harder European tastes of gabber and hardstyle to concentrate on a new found love for making Tech Trance. Bookings in his homeland soon started when Ukranian club promoters heard Tigrans productions and promo mixes.
Starting his producing career with an eery, tough, complex tech sound he became part of the Detox records team in NL.Since then Tigran has developed his sound futher to one that’s certainly still his own but is more anthemic with big room moments, merging his insane grooves and huge leads into a BIG HIT sound!
Tigran has caught the attention of the another two top Dutch collectives, Be Yourself Music (Marcel Woods 'Musical Madness' and 'High Contrast Nu Breed') and various Spinnin Records imprints with original releases and remixes gaining massive support from an A-Z on the worlds elite DJs.
In the UK, Tigran releases his harder tech trance beats with Kiddfecious or Tekfectious owned by Alex Kidd who has plans through onto the event side of the brand in due course. Another important UK label in Tigran's development has been CGI/Wax owned by Charlie G and Will Atkinson.
Tigran was announced in the DJ MAG TOP 100 edition as none other than dance icon Judge Jules ‘PRODUCER OF 2009’ and the UK legend called him ‘The most exciting and consistent producer to appear on my radar in 2009’’.Judge Jules also invited Tigran on to his world famous BBC RADIO ONE show for a phone interview that goes out to millions of listeners on his ‘Sets Education’ feature.Tigrans tracks have been a regular fixture on this show.
Other achievements to date are UK dance bible MIXMAG selecting Tigran for their 'Keep and Eye On' feature, appearing on ’15 Minutes of Fame’ on Tiesto’s Clublife radio show, playing to a massive hall of his home city crowd in LVIV after ATB and the launch of his Mass Motion radio show on Kiss FM Ukraine. Early 2010 saw the birth of the Mass Motion Nights in in Lviv Ukraine where Tigran and his Mass Motion crew have been debuting a fine selection of international guests on a monthly basis.
