And I once knew a person
who could understand the way
the wind blew

And I tried to learn the language
but its as subtle as the mist
when the sun’s down

he’s up in the clouds now
he is drawing up the back
of each day

everyone would ask me
why I hadn’t spoke a word
in so long

the secret to the language
that is spoken from the soul
is its silence

 all across the mountain
they went searching for my ghost
but I was hiding

and no amount of shouting out
could bring them down
without my body

mother can’t you hear me?
I’ve been blowing through the wind
this whole time

because I am an animal
