At that time the name of the band is AMALEK. The first songs, in a Death / Thrash Metal style, show the will of the band to integrate a lot of various elements in their music, picking influences in most existing Metal styles. In 2002, after a year of work, AMALEK record their first demo, Inner desolation, including 4 original songs and a DISSECTION cover.
