I'd like to take this time to apologise for stepping on your toes

I jumped right off and then realised that lo and behold, you'd disappeared



My eyes watched over skies of misery so often I've forgot just why my heart's not flown that far away from all the things it's not and disappeared

So what of this pain?

When it rains it pours down on me for no longer



If lives grow dim can we see without light?

Eyes without light lose their way easily

If lies that you've lived can be lies when they're right

Then no more broken promises this is real



All this time has been wasted if signs that you've given me end here tonight

So will these words be our savour or straw that broke the camels back in our sights
