Little Neighbor

when you die i'll rearrange your bones 
  into the shape of an animal you love 
  but o then a faceless death 
  we knew would come 
  forces me to make up one 
  i will cover your bone frame in fur 
  construct wings from the bones of dead birds 
  these wings bound to your shoulders 
  with tendons from the body of a deer
